Côte d'Ivoire: Minister Sidi Tiémoko Touré invites US companies to invest in animal resources
The Ivorian Minister of Animal and Fishery Resources, Sidi Tiémoko Touré, invited member companies of the American Chamber of Commerce in Côte d'Ivoire (AmCham-CI) on September 24, 2026, to participate in the development of the country's animal resources sector during a networking meeting organized under the theme "Connecting Members with the U.S. Embassy". According to the minister, Côte d'Ivoire has land suitable for domestic animal production as well as for their feed through the valorization of agricultural and agro-industrial products and by-products. He highlighted strong growth prospects for consumption, calling for the mobilization of projects and programs to meet them. The event, which brought together members of AmCham-CI and representatives of the US Embassy, was marked by the presence of Felicia Djibo, President of AmCham-CI, and Junaid Munir, Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy.
