Côte d'Ivoire: Sidy Cissé appointed Director General of CDC-CI to continue financing economic transformation
Sidy Cissé was appointed Director General of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations de Côte d'Ivoire (CDC-CI) on September 25, 2026, according to RTI Info. An engineer graduate of the École Polytechnique de Paris and the École des Mines de Paris, he has over twenty years of experience in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Côte d'Ivoire. Since 2017, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister in charge of financial, economic, and infrastructure issues, where he monitored the economic and financial program with the IMF, participated in the mobilization of Eurobonds, and in the financial structuring of major state projects. He has also worked at the Ministries of the Budget and State Portfolio, and of Economic Infrastructure. Created in 2018, CDC-CI is a public financial institution with financial autonomy and state guarantee, with a dual mission: to secure public and private resources and act as a long-term investor. It operates in infrastructure, real estate, VSEs-SMEs, innovation, renewable energy, urban development, and public-private partnerships, notably via its subsidiary CDC-CI Capital and a stake in the fintech Green-Pay.
